Plugin Alliance HUM Audio Devices LAAL For Windows has included all of this analog chain’s parts in the plugin. From the discrete signal path to the studio-grade transformers and very accurate detection circuits, this device has it all. LAAL makes a change that you can see as well as hear. When sound is sent through the LAAL limiter, the peaks of the waveforms are much smoother and have more harmonics than with other limiter tools. The LAAL Limiter has all the extra digital-only features you’d expect from the company that made the famous bx_masterdesk line. Controlling the TX Drive, handling the M/S, and a lot more are all part of this.
Features of Plugin Alliance HUM Audio Devices LAAL:
- Digital model of the Analog Look Ahead device that has been officially approved
- Pre-limiter Stereo Width functionality lets you get the most out of stereo images.
- Dynamic Transient mode lets you keep transients.
- Release time that can be changed (stepped from 2ms to 100ms).
- Plugin-only feature: Use the TX-Drive to connect to the Transformer button and change the amount of color.
- When Detect Link L+R sees the first signal that hits the barrier, it limits it and applies it to the other channels.
- M/S processing for full control of the mids and sides.
